Are your handbags authentic?

yes! All bags have been fully authenticated. Each bag goes through two levels of authentication. The most notable being Entrupy's product authentication solution. Entrupy takes an AI-powered, scientifically proven approach to certifying the authenticity of luxury products. The second level of authentication is the trained eye of professional authenticators. Certificates of authenticity are produced for every bag that passes both levels of authentication.

Where can I find my handbags certificate of authenticity?

Each certificate of authenticity can be found inside of each handbag or inside of its shipping box.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes! During checkout select Shop Pay. Shop Pay allows you to pay in installments.

Do you accept Zelle?

Yes. Contact me through the contact form on this website to inquire about sending payment through Zelle. You should expect a response within 24 hours.

When will my order be shipped?

Sugar Boutique ships orders every Tuesday. Tracking information will be provided to you once your item ships. Every package is shipped with signature confirmation.

Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

No, not currently. However, I plan to in the future. I will announce when this service is available.

Can I add insurance to my package?

Absolutely. Each package automatically comes with coverage of $200 for damage, theft, and loss. If you would like to add more coverage to your package, contact Sugar Boutique immediately after purchasing your item. You can purchase coverage up to the cost of your item ($5,000 & under).

Extra insurance coverage can cost anywhere from about $3 - $60 with USPS. The $60 range being equivalent to $5,000 worth of coverage which is the maximum.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. However, all return claims must be initiated within 2 days of receiving your handbag. Your 2 days start the day your tracking number shows the item as delivered.

You must contact Sugar Boutique to initiate a return. When your claim has been reviewed, the item must be sent back within 2 business days. Tracking information must be provided as proof of return shipping.

Sugar Boutique does not provide shipping labels or cover the cost of return shipping.

Recap: 2 days to initiate a claim (weekend days included) - Then, 2 business days to ship returns after claim has been reviewed.

If your claim falls outside of the return window, your claim will be rejected.

Can I cancel my order?

Please ask all questions prior to purchasing. Orders cannot be cancelled at this time.

Why was I charged tax?

Sales tax is only charged if your shipping address is in New York state because my business resides in N.Y. The tax is required by law. It goes to the state of New York, not me.

How do I know the condition of your items?

Good question!

Here is the condition grading scale

A- Lightly used with no noticeable signs of wear or slight signs of wear.

B- minor signs of wear. Check the items pictures & description to see the signs of wear.

C- moderate signs of wear or heavy signs of wear. Check the items pictures & description to see the signs of wear.

Common luxury brand terms and sizing

Some brands have very distinctive language and sizing to describe their products. Here are a few helpful ones

Vachetta: Untreated cowhide leather

Patina: When vachetta leather ages, it gets darker over time. Stains and hand oils also contribute to the Patina (darkening) of vachetta.
